For the 2013 holiday season, Google invited everyone to the Winter Wonderlab, where holiday shoppers came to check out new gadgets and interact with the Google brand offline in giant snow globe.

Known as an "online" brand, Google's expansion into the commercial hardware space has prompted recent marketing activity into retail. Google wanted to create a pop-up retail presence in top markets to give shoppers a fun, engaging way to experience their new gadgets.
